2. Hughes' - Who Da Thought It Of Acutestaff
Black/brindle who is a little more of the type
I favour but I found it impossible to assess
her movement. A little more ring craft
training is recommended. Very clean all
round, a good head and foreface ratio
although needs time to mature. Mouth has
large teeth producing correct bite. Scored
over 1 with length of upper arm and
angulations but would have preferred feet
with a little more padding, good length to the
ribs and sound enough in rear quarters.

1) Hughes' - Who Da Thought It of Acutestaff
This very typy brindle bitch might just be the sleeper in the show. She is untrained and not in condition but she caught my eye in Junior and got a fortuitous 4th, but had settled ever so slightly by now, and it just might be that when she gets straightened out there could be something very nice underneath. She has all the essentials, but there is only so far you can go making allowances.

2. Hughes' - Who Da Thought It Of Acutestaff
Lost out to the winner (Wildstaff Jo Black)
on overall condition. Again a pleasing
enough headshape with enough depth
through the stop. She seems to have
everything in the right place but she is very
sloppy at this stage, still very much a
youngster and has loads of time to come
together.

ears, straight front upon toes with tight feet,
level topline, not carrying any excess weight,
moved OK, going through the leggy stage,
still young with plenty of potential to develop
in the future.

It was such a close decision between 1st
(McFayden's Araidh Something About Mary
At Kilvara) & 2nd (Hughes' Who Da Thought
It Of Acutestaff) I thank both handlers for
being patient with me. Both these girls had
many virtues, which the standard demands &
in the end the 1st girls' performance was
slightly better.
